The FCP in Cloud Security certification validates your ability to secure public and private cloud applications by deploying, managing, and monitoring Fortinet application security products. This curriculum will cover the day-to-day tasks related to Fortinet application security devices and VMs.

Exams

  • Available worldwide at: Pearson VUE test centers and OnVUE
  • Scoring method: Answers must be 100% correct for credit. No partial credit is given. There are no deductions for incorrect answers.
  • Type of questions: Multiple choice and drag-and-drop
  • Time required between attempts: 15 days
  • Digital badges: Your Fortinet Training Institute account is updated within five business days after you pass the exam.
  • Once an exam has been counted towards certification, it cannot be used again to renew the same certification.
  • You cannot retake an exam you have already passed.

To achieve this certification, you must pass the NSE 4 exam and one NSE 5 exam within two years. The certification will be active for two years from the date of the second exam.

You will receive digital badges under the following circumstances:

  • Exam badge: Each time you pass any version of the exam included in FCP in Cloud Security.
  • Certification badge: Once you achieve the requirements for the FCP in Cloud Security certification.

Recertification

  • If your FCP in Cloud Security certification has expired, you must pass the NSE 4 exam and one NSE 5 exam within two years to renew your certification.
  • While your FCP in Cloud Security certification is still active, you can extend the expiration date by two years from the date you complete one of the following requirements:
    • Pass the NSE 4 exam and one NSE 5 exam from the FCP in Cloud Security certification track before the expiry date.
    • Pass one NSE 6 exam or the NSE 7 exam from the FCSS in Cloud Security certification track before the expiry date.
  • While your FCP in Cloud Security certification is still active, you can extend the expiration date by three years from the date you achieve or renew the FCX in Cybersecurity certification.
  • Passing the NSE 4 or any NSE 5 exam recertifies your FCF and FCA certifications if they are still active.
