Prerequisites
The following list describes the assumed knowledge required to successfully complete SDADS:
- Cisco Software-Defined Access Implementation and Troubleshooting (SDAIT)
- Working knowledge or experience with Cisco DNA Center
- Working knowledge or experience with Cisco ISE
- Working knowledge or experience with Cisco wireless solutions
Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Discuss two network solution design methodologies, namely the Plan, Build, Manage (PBM) and Cisco’s PPDIOO models
- Characterise an existing network and assess readiness for SD Access implementation
- Describe the SD Access solution components and architectural model
- Design an appropriate SD Access network according to scale metrics
- Design and recommend best practices in deploying Cisco DNA Center
- Design a wired and wireless SD Access solution to meet customer objectives
- Design a guest wireless access solution
- Design and develop a strategy to migrate an existing network to a Cisco SD Access solution
Course Content
The Designing Cisco Software-Defined Access Solutions (SDADS) course enables learners to understand and design a Cisco Software-Defined Access solution, based on Cisco DNA Center version 1.3.3.X. Learners will design wired and wireless access based on best practices as well as adopt effective migration strategies. The course includes both discussion content and a comprehensive set of design labs aimed at preparing learners to becoming proficient at designing Software-Defined Access solutions.
